My daughter and I have put on some miles this season. We have seen plenty of elk in my usual spot, but she has been unable to close the deal before they disappear. Im thinking about taking her down towards Dillon in hopes to find her a little more open area and hopefully a better shot opportunity. Im not super familiar with the area, and would welcome any tips on where a 14 year old might have a good chance a tagging her first Elk. Any Elk will do, cows just as good. Any of the ranches down there let youth hunters on? Many thanks in advance from an ambitious young huntress!
