Stevens 555

I've handled one and they feel nice. Cheap O/U's are always hit or miss in terms of quality. I had a tristar before and a stoeger, both were junk. I have no experience with them but if I were to get a cheap O/U I would probably consider a Stevens or a CZ for a simple field gun. Also you can get into a Franchi but that's more like $1,000.

I've looked at/into the Savage 555 as I sorta need a break action shotgun for some bird dog club events. My limited internet searching has shown that some have had problems with the triggers and double firing. Just something to look into and consider. I do like the price/weight ratio of these shotguns!
