We usually start to see them here in MN by early March so it doesnt surprise me that they are already stacking up in MO. When the big push hits there isnt a whole lot to hold them back from the big race to the prairies.
 
That refuge can be amazing, epsecially in the odd year where it goes over a million. I like your elevated picture!

They have pretty well left SEMO headed North....cuppla Buds covered lots of miles from Jackson to New Madrid this morning looking for them and found very few...maybe 30 or 40 thousand scattered in small flocks.
