Spray foam

I used the tiger foam kit for a wine cellar in my garage that measures 11'x7'x7'. It was miserable and messy, if I was doing a significantly bigger space I just have somebody else do it. They're going to be faster, more consistent and they have to deal with cleaning it up.

Prep is a big thing with spray foam. mtmuley

We have done full fill foam in 2x6 walls. Better make sure electrical, audio and video, any low voltage plus plumbing is in order. The 2 to 3 inch foam plus blown in or batts is a great way to go. mtmuley
Do this. It’s what I do on my jobs. Sometimes we still use insulated siding too. Super efficient. Not too expensive either.

I did my 1200 sq ft workshop DIY with Tiger Foam kits. Local companies wanted like $15k (pre-COVID!) so the cost worked out. The first 1/3 I did was awful, middle part OK, and the last 1/3 looked halfway decent. Ran out on the ceiling and finished with just buying those rigid foam boards and cans of spray foam to seal edges.

Doing it again I'd just go foam boards with spot fill, finishing with plywood to lock it in.

I did 1 1/2" of closed cell on all walls, complimented with batts. 1" spray in lid with blow in over top. I wanted tight but not too tight without an air exchange. Very efficient combination, I use maybe 200 gallons of LP each year to run furnace and kitchen oven/ range in 2600 sq ft. Wish I had done an air exchange now, if the house is left uninhabited for a week the air gets a little stale. Otherwise with normal use its fine.
Makes me wonder if a zip panel system installed correctly could offset closed cell, but the material/ labor adds up.

This is a great way to do it, especially for the lid. ZIP system is pretty cool too, but you have to make your your install is tight and don't cut corners. My house has old T-111 siding that someone covered with 1 1/2" foam board under vinyl siding. I'm in the process of removing the vinyl and putting ZIP over the top of the closed cell and covering with LP Smartside...
