Spot and Stalk Black Bears- Lower 48

Hey all, new to the forum, but I am a religious follower and not so much a poster.I am interested in a lower 48 spot and stalk bear hunt. I have taken bears every other way possible, but I have always been intrigues by an on your own spot and stalk bear hunt. I am not new to out of state hunting, and I have the required gear to make it a pack trip or few day bivy. Anyone have any ideas on a good location. Would prefer spring as most of my other hunts are finished, but fall may work as well.

Idaho offers a lot of oppotunity for bears. You can hunt several areas for pretty cheap if you buy the reduced bear tag. The tag is cheap and all you need on top of it is the lisence. This gives you a general season for spring and fall. Best of luck to you.
