Hey, anyone familiar with Montana fished the South fork of the Flathead recently? I hiked in there about 10 years ago and was catching fat cutts and huge bull trout. I just read an article that said the MFWP is poisening the whole drainage to try and replenish it with westslope cutts. I was thinking about doing the trip again but not if the fish are dead...
Also, I've heard you can fly into the top of the river and float it. I've found some info on the Schafer Meadows airstrip on the middle fork but it doesn't look like there are any options on the south fork. Am I right?
