Sucks cuz I’d definitely like a whitetail as I’ve never shot one. Might just have to hope for a Any deer tag. Never hunted country that looks that flat either!

The whitetail only tags are much easier to draw.

Actually ended up taking a pretty decent 4pt. Took me a couple days of scouting and a couple days of hunting to finally find one

Good for you. I have shot a couple of real nice mulies there in the early part of this century. Harder to draw tags there now. I have seen some decent whitetails out there but far and few in between. Like whities everywhere, they are making inroads. Ex in-laws lived on Argyle road. Could hunt one side of road for West river, the other for Black Hills. Those were the days.
