I am looking at the WY regs here and the elk draw is Feb. 21 and results are available Feb. 28.
The deadline for deer and 'lope apps is March 15. So, I think that a guy could put in for elk and if not successful he could then apply for deer and 'lopes. That is probably what we will do.
Just gotta cash flow this operation....!!

I'll put in for Elk and Deer permits this year and most likely Dall Sheep and a moose tag.I will build up my points since it takes around 3-4 years to get drawn for deer and elk permits.So I will be chasing spike Elk again next year.I can hunt Cougar until the middle of March but its hard when ya cant use dogs.I will be waiting for the Texas trip for them sheep anxiously.
