I've only been after bulls in the rut for a few years, so this is a new one for me. How are the elk acting? Specifically in Montana with the recent winter storms. Based on forums and facebook, it seems like people are still killing them.

1. How does the snow impact their behavior, if at all?
2. Are you all still employing your normal rut tactics or has the snow altered how to approach the hunt?
3. Are you still finding them in the normal places for this time of year?

I appreciate all your thoughts. I will head back home to Montana on Friday for a week of (hopefully) chasing bugles.
