SNOW SUCKS!

3 more inches of dry-ass snow overnight. The kind that makes you feel like you're breathing powder, and not the stuff Bolivians march on.

Dogs lasted 20 minutes before they were done. Right around 1 below and the wind is dying down.

Anybody know how the off-shore fishing is around Alabama/Mississippi?

Calling for maybe 2" over the weekend and below 0 temps. We'll see about the snow. The cold snap is beginning to piss me off, though. It costs a small fortune to keep the heat going out in the kennel and I have to raise the temp some with the super cold nights. It was cold enough my Harley wouldn't start! Kicked it up while made dinner and went back out to try. Yup! Let it run 10 minutes or so and turned the heat back down and shut the lights. Sigh...

Charged the battery on the generator yesterday but couldn't get it to start. Got my tractor started though. Once warmed up I'll hook the blade up. Must be nice to live on a county road where the county plows their road. Buddy said his water meter froze last night, I put a couple sheets of insulation on top of my lid.

EDIT: Took me three hours to connect the hydraulic line from the blade to the tractor. One line went easy the other was a MF. Released pressure on the hose as well as the female end on the tractor. Ended up putting a heat lamp on the male and female ends and finally got it. never had so much trouble.

22 w/ 2 inches of powder. Get to try out the new battery Stihl blower. LOL
Might get to zero manana. I doubt it.

Fun fact. When my mom lived in Wasilla AK we typically had the opposite of her. If she had cold and snow we did not. And vise versa. Not sure the science of it but just and observation. We have cold and snow now. I saw posts about Iditorad and enough snow. Not sure if true but it would track from what I have seen

Ended up with 7 inches. Looks like that will be it. I'll plow before the football games.
