So ALL the prognosticators had the snow bands west of us. I just wish once in a while they would try to look out their windows. Prob 17-20" and 10° right now. Kubota tractor fueled up and 4 way plow for attack mode. Two cups of coffee and solid breakfast then having my wife dress me up like 5yr old in snow suit. Just not looking forward to fighting thru snow to get to pole barn. Yippy Kai Yay ....

Our pole barn is downhill from the house. Work smarter, not harder!

We've already hit about 51" for the year. Kinda glad we didn't get the 7" forecast (got about 3).

Pole barn same level, nice easy push straight out. Thankfully no wind at 13°. Nice and fluffy

Had 27" in Nov and fair amount in Dec so totals prob same

It was lovely this am taking the dogs around the property. We've got daily 3" totals forecast for the next week. So I got that and a refill of the diesel can to look forward too.

I've forgotten what snow looks like.

Hiked into the Elkhorns this morning to pull my bobcat traps. Coulda done it in a t-shirt. Though our snowpack is alright thus far, it's been so mild that basically nothing below 7,000 ft has or has had snow. Coulda been a mid-May morning, honestly.

Similar weather here...with a crap ton of wind.

Was in the low 50's yesterday supposed to be upper 40's today. A one day cool down then back into the 30's and 40's for the next 7-10 days. Insanely mild winter and we have no ice to fish. I think every ice fishing tournament in Wyoming has been cancelled.

We got one dump of snow, that is long gone. As I type this my weather station says 59 degrees. Yesterday, I took my puppy for a run from horseback. It was 69 degrees according to the truck's thermometer, on the way home.

I have not seen a winter so mild. The other moisture we have received was light rain/drizzle. Most days have been very windy. During a bad windstorm, the power was out for 11 hours.

We’ve had some mild Winters in Michigan’s U.P. (South central) the last few years. Not so much this year. It seems to snow almost every day, high winds and cold temps.
Retirement and snow-birding next winter seems like a good idea.

Western Colorado would love to have some snow, Grand Mesa has only 22" on the ground.
