Here in Australia it's the start of our snapper season. In Melbourne from Nov to about Feb the local waters are filled with crazy fishos trying to get a haul. The other weekend I got out with the kids to black rock which is a local snapper haunt to try and chase some big snapper and pinkies. Was a perfect day except for the fog.
We got 1 good size snapper and a bunch of small ones that all went back to fight another day and kept the kids entertained.
Kids are now well and truly hooked on snapper fishing and are pestering me every weekend which is great because I love to get out.
