Considering going to WY to bowhunt early Sept with my general any deer tag. My wife got to asking about rattlesnakes. In October I always told her we wouldn't see any cuz it's cooler, usually. Eases her mind a little anyway. So, I got to wondering what you western guys do for snakes and found this old thread. I also found this link:

When hunting several miles from the truck I wouldn't have much choice but to hike out, and drive to town I guess. Let's hope it doesn't ever come to this. Anyone ever been bit?
