We could see the smoke and hear the radio traffic for that fire from our location on the nearby Magpie Rock fire. Amazing how many ways a fire can ignite.

That’s a crazy way for a fire to start. I was a lineman for years we had all kinds of birds squirrels Coons even cats get electrocuted but never seen one start a fire But the animals had burns on them

I was the Ops Manager for our Electric Utility for years...had quite a few small grass fires started by flaming squirrels, and a couple of turkey buzzards on occasion. Friggin squirrels just love playing on those pot heads!
