Single cam or double

Do you prefer a solo cam or double? Why? I understand the pros and cons of each, but want to be sure im not overlooking anything. I hunt whitetails but want to start building a rig to use in western states.

Same same, white tail and "western states" bow.
I changed from a dual cam to a single.
I also cut my draw weight down from 70lb to 50lb.
