Hey guys,

I've made this a half dozen times or so with basically a double/ triple batch (2 decent size vension roasts) and its a great option for using up some venison roasts/ lesser steaks and it tastes awesome!

The only difference is that I use a 16 oz. jar of salsa and half a jar of jalapeno green salsa (HOT). I also add a packet of taco seasoning and I don't add the black beans and corn until after the meat is shredded otherwise they overcook. I cut up the roasts into smaller strips add a can of beef broth in with the meat while its in the slow cooker, so that it cooks properly. Then when it's done, just put about 2 cups into 4-5 containers and freeze it. Just thaw out the containers, heat some in the microwave and throw it on a tortilla shell with cheese.

I had 2 different friends make this in the last month and they both said it's their favorite vension recipe now!
