Shotgun for deer

If I wanted to use my 12 ga for deer with 00 Buck, what would be my max effective range and which chock tube should I use?

Full choke i would say a max of 65 yards. I have killed many whitetail with a shotgun. 00 Buckshot is some really lethal stuff. I would never in my life think that a bunch of big round balls would drop every deer i ever shot at with them.
