They were rutting hard the 1st week of Nov when I had my tag. I found the meat of my ram to be very unpalatable. I couldnt even give away backstrap. Wasnt tough just VERY strong.

Exact same with mine that was shot around the same time. I ended up grinding it all and making jerky, even that had a strong odor.
