Howdy all,
So I'm trying to head East to the Missouri Breaks around the end of April to do some turkey hunting and elk shedhunting for a few days. I'm posting here to hopefully get some insight from some of you guys who live around there or have some good knowledge of that area. I've only been out there once and turkey hunted the Two Calf Creek area, east of 191. While we did get into a few turkeys there we didn't see much for wintering elk sign. Not expecting anybody to tell me their spots or exactly where the elk usually are, but just hoping someone can get me started in the right direction. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, feel free to PM me also!
Thanks,
James

Just remember there is not shed hunting allowed on the CMR proper. Lots of wintering elk are on private lands which do not allow access or on the CMR itself.
