Semi-live from Kansas

Me and 3 coworkers are up a tree with 3 customers in Kansas. Trying to catch up with Big Hank. Will keep you posted with pics... maybe some commentary from camp.

Customer #1 tagged out this morning on his first sit. I saw some does and heard a buck grunt but saw no bone.

I got some work calls out of the way at lunch, then tried a stand across the river. First grunt sequence put this guy inside 15 yards.

Rattled a little later and this guy charged in... couple more hours in day 1 for big hank to show...

Buddies are back in our old spot in eastern Kansas. Tops blowing off right now. Jerry texted me all morning and went like this...6 pt, 7 pt, 8 pt, 13 pt. Y’all should kill some great ones. Good luck.

Slow morning... two bucks at first light with just 3 does and a spike at 730... 4 hours later and nothing.bbgonna sit it out though.

2 mid afternoon cruisers hit the dirt today... still waiting on Big Hank myself.

11.5 hours in the stand today with one more to go, and this was the only buck I saw in daylight.

You guys are having a good time! Love hunting in Kansas during this time of year, it can leave you speechless at times. You guys have taken some bruisers, please take kansasdad's advice about tag placement, they'll have game check stations up and down I-35 and I-70 and won't cut you any slack for having a tag in the wrong place. Good luck fellas and hope to see some more Kansas bruisers hit the ground!
