SE or SW Wyoming for Pronghorn

Planning a pronghorn rifle hunt with a buddy for this coming Oct. We will be driving from Washington state so Southwest Wyoming would be better as far as mileage but would it be better for the hunting? We are thinking between Rocksprings and Rawlins units 92,96,60,61,62,48.

Any truth to Wyoming requiring a guide for out of state residents to hunt wilderness areas in Wyoming?

Thanks for the info folks.

You only need a guide to hunt Wilderness with a capital “W”. Won’t affect your antelope hunt. As mentioned, you’ll need close to a decade’s worth of points or more if you want to hunt most of those units. Good luck!
