Out in the marsh from the toe of the boot from Venice....missed one year in last 20 of being there. Awful! No birds!
Don't really know what is going on.....we usually have to "gift" birds to friends to stay within possession limit....not this year! Sucks! We got so bored we shot a flock of Snipe that must have numbered in the hundreds that did a full frontal assault on our blind---four shots total from the three of us yielded an 8 bird per person limit! We breasted those little buggers!
As for ducks, we were not really keeping up with kill since it was so bad but I think we ended up with 1 Can, 2 Sprigs, 4 GW and 5 Grays....terrible!
Oh well, such is duck hunting....off to AR lease on the 3rd for my annual birthday hunt....
