Was planning a turkey hunt - looks like if I want to shotgun for big toms in April in South Dakota, I have to send in an application for BH-1. Can an expert please confirm?

BH1 is specific for the Black Hills, which are unlimited licenses. I'm guessing that's what you're thinking since that's the most popular place to hunt them. Prairie tags obviously have a different code and are draw only.
