Anyone know if there is a way to reduce scratches on a GPS screen? I thought I heard that wiping it with Pledge would help, anyone know if this is true?

I would think the headlight polish would work good.

Another option: I had an old Garmin I used overseas and it got all scratched up riding around in my vest. after it was all scrathed up I stuck a piece of clear packing tape over the screen to protect it from further scratching, and I was pleasantly surprised that the adhesive on the tape filled in the scratches. I could see through it much better after putting the tape on it.

Yep i know!
But whether you can get hold of it is another matter.
Its called 'jewellers rouge' it's a very fine powder that jewellers use to buff up glass on watches.
Sadly i used up my last supply which was given to me by a glazier.
Take it from me Mtlion, it works.
Checkout evilbay.
Cheers

Good question! I keep my Garmin attached to my backpack so I can easily get to it, but more often then not forget about it when I remove my pack and toss it on the ground. I'm getting a few scratches too. Thanks for asking this Q and thanks for the responses.
