As others have commented, through hunting season is pretty normal for bears to be out. No reason to go to bed if the snow isn't stacking up and there's gut piles all over.

A buddy just shared pictures of a sow with cubs out this weekend. A few years back some other hunters at the trailhead got ran off their deer the last week of the season by a sow with cubs.

Latest confirmed griz I've had is Dec 17th, he was big (baited trail camera for game survey targeting other species).
