After several hours driving. We went to a location I have not been to in a couple of years. The wind was bad and it was HOT! It must have been in the 70's. Gretta showed me she is not perfect. She had a couple of coveys take her to the wood shed. I was able to cut them off but the fact is they were going left, left, left, then they went right. This caused Gretta to go left and they end ran her to the canyon. I was in the right place to cut them off. I think it was mainly due to the wind conditions and heat. We did get 11 birds. I got 8 and my friend Dell got 3. Gretta's sister is in this picture. This was her first GOOD hunt. She got 3 sage hen points (we had to pas on them) and 3 chukar points. She also backed Gretta on two points, and Gretta backed her on one. I had to do some training with Grettas back. I think this was her second back she has ever done, and I had to whoa her. Maybe with some more she will get better. Ron
