In the spirit of cooperation with one of those Republicans that some of us are perceived to be so against, the bill sponsor (Mark Blasdel, Somers) of #1 of my original post is going to get a phone call from me thanking him for sponsoring a piece of legislation that does some good for the resource. If we can find some of them nasty GOP's
on "our side" it may behoove us to thank them. I called and thanked Walt McNutt from out east for being a voice of reason a couple weeks ago. I can't stress enough that the crap this legislative session has nothing to do with party lines. As shoots echoed, fact - it's the dubious distinction of the GOP party to be the purveyors of the stuff that threatens outdoorspeople in general.
