Safe Question

Howdy all, I'm running out of shelf space in my safe and was thinking of putting some peg board on the door to hang a few (ok more than a few) of my hand guns on. I figure to angle the hooks toward the back and coating they with a nonslip rubber like you dip tool handles in. Has anyone tried this or if anyone has any suggestions I'd sure like to hear from you. I can afford another safe but don't have the space for another one or a bigger one. My current safe is 30"X30"X72". Thanks to all inadvance.

My safe came with plastic hooks in the door and I just hang the pistols by the trigger guard. I've also started cramming my rifles and shotguns into the safe with the muzzle down (all the guns are in Sack-Ups) which gives me a little more room.
