I always thought his wife was better at acting. Interesting that she was the daughter of Tommy Douglas, the populist Canadian premier who brought us socialized medicine. Both her and Donald were very popular up here and outspoken but curiously both stayed out of politics. She's been gone for several years. I'll have to check his obit. I'm guessing we're about the same age.
