RIP Bob Weir

I can’t believe any of you old dudes got any babes at all wearing that stuff… 😂

Hey kid your parents and or grandparents got their freak on back in the day , no cell phones, no social media you had to go there to experience it, and you only knew about it by word-of-mouth

time and technology hasn’t always made things better. Sometimes the old ways were the best.

A clip from the early 70’s at a Dead Show, click the link and take trip back in time

Sept. 10, 1983. Santa Fe Downs. Ferocious monsoon downpour interrupted the show, sent band and crew scrambling and scattering, unsuccessfully trying to tarp the wall of sound speakers. Nowhere to hide for the audience, unquestionably the biggest and breast wet T-shirt event of my sheltered life. We went right down in front. Then came the legendary double rainbow above the stage, and an inspired conclusion to the set as the storm cleared. Never experienced any event like it before or since, remember it like I'm standing in the mud with ears ringing right now. This is the punnish encore song recorded live that afternoon.

Listen sonny , sex in the 70's was wild , free love and rock and roll , it was the best of times . You have no idea .
No truer statement has never been made. The old saying "If you remember the 70's then you weren't there". That was so true. The open parties of the 60's and 70's were unbelievable. Sex, drugs, rock and roll free love.

RIP Bobby! I hope you’re jamming with Jerry and Pigpen!

I believe those of us who came of age in the ‘60s and ‘70s lived through the best this country will ever see. There were dark clouds to be sure but by and large great fun.

Bob and I were born just two days apart. A couple decades ago we made a deal we were going to live to be 100, then get together and decide if we were gonna take it any further. One of the last things I said to Bob was “Hey, I thought we had a deal.” His lack of response made me realize I was on my own on this one because Bob was already way past 100. He was 100 when I met him. Always the elder, the wise old soul. He had a pocket full of sayings that he used to simplify a conversation.
