I didn’t take notes as I drove. He did go on a rant at one point that carbon credits were a scam.

I'm paraphrasing but his take was to quit paying them to clean up after themselves. Never denied that carbon output wasn't a good measure of pollution but didn't believe that pursuing just the elimination of carbon output was the best measurement either.

I think it’s good to keep in mind that old saying “ easier said than done”.

Edit- after listening I’m doubling down on the above quote. Due to the political landscape I don’t see very much of the wishful thinking getting done.
