We are pretty loyal to Toyota based on our history with other cars we have owned made by them. Looked at the CRV but not too impressed with the CVT and am concerned about the reliability of that transmission. Not saying that the new 8 speed Toyota trans is perfect as I have read they are having issues with those as well. I told the wife what I used to tell co-workers who laughed at my $200.00 beater back in the day. "Give me $20K and I'll make your Scion last forever". She didn't like that response. Because I like eating at the kitchen table and sleeping with a hot babe not covered in fur, guess we are looking at Rav4's.
