Removable horns on mounts

Does anyone feel strongly one way or another about removable horns on elk mounts? I realize they may be necessary when I shoot that 400" bull next year, but was wondering if anyone has issues with them.

They don't bother me. I have standard size house doors, and I have a shoulder mount of a 55" Moose. There was only two solutions, 1 hang it outside on the front of the house, 2 have removable horns. Hell, I can't tell they are removable.

If done right, you can't tell the diffrence. Just remember it has removable horns when you go to yank it off the wall.

All LARGE Moose mounts I ever saw had at least one removable horn.
Not noticable.
