I too love my 722 257 Bobby. I's a runnin' a K-4b on it.

This gun had been neglected and probably hadn't been cleaned for 25 years prior to my pa giving it to me a couple of years ago. With a bit of basic cleaning it now shoots better by a good bit than my m700 25-06 which is 25 years newer with a brand new VX-I. I hate to get all sappy on you guys, but it just feels good to hunt with the 722.

I've got my eye on a 300 H&H 721 that an acquaintance is thinking about selling. If he does, I will be the purchaser...

Thanks! I have a NIB Bushnell Banner BDC 3X9 that I received for a birthday present a couple years ago. Will most likely go on there for now.

No problem; I might just pick them both up and put on a couple of Mauser rebuilds for grand-nephews at that price. As far as the inlays are concerned; certain skills can be learned, but one is born with talent. Hope that doesn't step on anyone's toes. Love the quilt!
