I've been looking at a few different sources for ammo for my .223 Howa Ranchland. What have folks results been with re manufactured products like HSM and Fiocci and Black Hills?

I'm trying to find something affordable in boxes of 50 or more, with varmint bullets consistent enough to not embarrass myself on ground squirrels.

I'd be interested in anyone's experiences in this department.

Ultramax remans work well in my Browning Abolt. 55gr Vmax for $22.99 50/box at Cabela's. You can get FMJ's for even less. The 55gr Vmax has the same trajectory as the load for my .270 and .338 out to 350 yards so I can practice a lot with the .223 and switch right over to the bigger stuff.

Jeezus, stay away from HSM. I bought it to break in my rifle and it wouldn't stay in an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper at 100 yards. Then I Googled it. Should have done that first.
Absolute, 100%, garbage.
