Red lens over light or??????????????

What is the concensus on using a red lens over your light at night, if legal where you hunt. Personally, I use one.

I use a red light. Instead of a red cover, though, I sprayed my light with red dykem to get the red tint. The advantage of using the red dykem is that you can contol how dark the tint is on your lense.
