Red dot

I acquired a Ruger super Redhawk 44 mag and am looking at doing a red dot. Only silver one I can find is the ultra dot. Anybody have any experience with these or is not the way to go? Looking at 2 or 4 moa dot. Thanks

I recently put a 2X Ultradot on a S&W 44. I chose the Ultradot because it seems to have a pretty good record of holding up to heavy recoil. I haven’t shot it that much, but I like it so far.

@HandgunHunter has a lot of experience with Ultradots.

A Trijicon SRO would be a pretty sweet red dot on a revolver. They have a great field of view.

I have either a Gen 1 or 2 UltraDot on my muzzleloader and it works well so far.
I've shot probably 20-25 times with it on there and haven't had any issues.

I've had several Ultradots on bullseye guns and never a problem.

I also put on one my 44 Mag Ruger Hunter for a year or two before changing to a variable magnification pistol scope.

I run ultradots on some pretty stout handguns. There isn’t a tougher sight. They also have the best glass in the dot industry. That means something when it comes to precision.

They have a new one dropping in July…..been running the prototypes for about a year. Same top shelf quality and best glass in class.
