Ok I got a new gun to dedicate strictly for spring turkey. It's got a 22 in barrel and I'm planning on shooting 3.5 out of it. I want a good optic but can't decide to go with a scope or red dot? I've narrowed it down to a vortex sparc 2 or a Leopold turkey. Any thoughts?

I've got a red dot on one of my shotguns, pretty happy with it. I think the dot covers 5 moa.

I think both would be good options, but If I was forced to choose I might lean towards the leupold. 3.5 inch turkey loads produce quite a bit of recoil, and there are way more points of potential failure in the red dot.
