Red Dot for M&P 15-22

I purchased an M&P 15-22 for my boys to plink around with. I would like to put a red dot scope on it. Can anybody give me a recommendation on what kind and style they would buy? Thanks for your help!

Nobody has experience with this rifle with a red dot scope? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I had a Mossberg AR22 and I got a Tasco red dot scope for it. Big mistake. There was so much glare in the daylight you couldn't even see the dot. Even if it's just for plinking and playing, spend a few extra dollars and get a better red dot scope for it.

Your price makes things tuff, I would spend the extra cash and get something like the vortex strikefire. You may also like the bushnell line that's at 100, the truglo line has gotten better. Haven't had luck with BSA, barska, or sightmark.
