Rangefinder: Impact vs. Ranger

Looking for some input on a rangefinder. Specifically thoughts on whether Vortex Impact is all I need for bow hunting. I really don’t see the need for a Ranger when I will never be taking shots beyond 40 yards. Honestly can’t spend more than $200 on one right now. Just dropped a grand on a new setup.

impact would work alright for you I’m sure... if you were going to upgrade I’d take a look at the Nikon Monarch 3000 - the image stabilization is awesome and IMO a better unit than any of the Vortex and that’s coming from a guy that runs Vortex bino’s so I like their stuff)
