Rabbit and Squirrel Closing

So the season for tree squirrel and rabbit is closing in a few weeks here in CA. I have done my fair share of hunting both over the years. I have found the squirrels hear in Del Norte. What I haven't found are the cotton tails. Does anyone from this part of the country/state know where I may find them relatively close? I'm assuming a little more inland.

There are desert cottontails in Cali (which you had over in Susie) and also some along the coast we used to call “brush bunnies” which are also a cottontail species. That being said, I never found them in enough of a concentration to warrant hunting! Good luck though, they’ve gotta be somewhere?
