One of my good friends just trained his young lab to start this, and the pup found it's first shed a couple of weeks ago.
I would love to do this as well.......I know I walk by more sheds than I ever see due to the high grass........would sure be nice to have a dog that could sniff out a couple extra for me...
BHM... a friend of mine and i started to train his dog and yes we were using actual sheds a couple of older ones and some fresh smaller spikes and forkies
