Question for the kiwis

Hey guys, I was watching a New Zealand hunting video and they shot a stag in heavy gorse bush, the clip made my wife (a native Kiwi from the North Island) shudder thinking of how to carry him out. What do you guys do when you you have a animal down in gorse?

Good question. I hunt in areas with gorse and in general normally just push through it I do get scratched up a bit but nothing serious.

Pig hunters who spend more time in gorse etc wear chap pants, probably a good idea when trying to keep up with hunting dogs!
