I have been hearing a little bit about Velvet Antler Technologies Velvalok and was wondering if anyone had ever used it before or knew someone who had experience with it and could shed light on if it works or not? I would love for an easy way like this to preserve the velvet and for $30 a bottle compared to the cost of freeze drying it really has me looking into it. Thanks in advance!

You need to drain the blood out of the Velvet. Any preservative applied to the outside without draining or flushing out the blood is like putting a bandaid on an infected wound.

I had figured this but doing a little bit of research they claimed that the chemicals in the spray pushed all the blood out and in their words "locked" the velvet to the antler which is why I came to here because I was skeptical being only $30 compared to the freeze drying price I paid for last years buck
