Calling predators has always been one of my favorite hunts. Specifically grey fox! Any other grey fox hunters?

@brockel is the person to knowI have a 6.5 creedmoor and want to use it for coyote hunting, any suggestions on bullets? I currently use 143g ELDX for deer and elk, would this obliterate a coyote?

In your opinion, is 'obliterate' a positive or negative outcome?I have a 6.5 creedmoor and want to use it for coyote hunting, any suggestions on bullets? I currently use 143g ELDX for deer and elk, would this obliterate a coyote?

Ideally i'd like to keep the skull and pelt if i could sew it, but i assume when people are saying it makes it a mess the last thing you want to do it try and skin it. Other options i have is a .22 and AR15 both w/ iron sights.... I've called in one coyote but he did come much closer than 200yrds.In your opinion, is 'obliterate' a positive or negative outcome?
Id say probably the quickest and most cost effective way to keep from from turning coyotes into portable hamburger might just be to use a copper projectile in Your 6.5 or maybe even an FMJ depending on local regs.Ideally i'd like to keep the skull and pelt if i could sew it, but i assume when people are saying it makes it a mess the last thing you want to do it try and skin it. Im not saying it for certain, I imagine you'd probably have smaller exit holesSo you’re saying I have a chance with keeping some pelt going that route? It’s CO and open season year round with no caliber restrictions
