Predator cull does work

Same thing has been going on in northern Alberta. Only difference is when they started, the F&W and biologists were poisoning the wolves using moose carcasses. Strychnine is a bitch. It didn't take long for the public to put a stop to that. So they introduced helicopter culling.

It has made a difference though, as the herd of woodland caribou has seen an increase in numbers in the last couple of years.

I have heard recently that out of the 3 south western WMU's in Alberta, of which are all crown land, there are an estimated 1400 wolves. In WMU 400 alone, 10 years ago there were over 1500 elk, that number is roughly 150 now.
 
Maybe we can give them some from the yellowstone packs if they kill to many
