Setting here in the middle of winter planning our prarrie dog shoot for the month of June .The more I plan the more I get excited. I am 61 years old and all but given up traveling from Michigan to the western states for big game hunting. But the prarrie dog shooting has really been great and I and my wife have a great time.
Come on summer !!

Chasing dogs can be lots of fun. I usually try to go out a few times per year and get some practice in.

Where do you normally go after them?

We usually do South Dakota, south of Wall, then head either to Wyoming or western North Dakota. .so far we have found plenty on public land with a little work.

Hang in there Rooster.
I am pushing 66 and have had to make some decisions myself when some of our younger group keep saying, "You are in better shape than us." No matter, the body just gets old and takes longer to recover.

Never to old

I am 74 yrs old and still look forward to Elk hunting every year. I just hunt by myself and don't try to keep up to the younger guys in our group and have had better luck thank them.Dont give up till you can't handle it any more.It is all about attitude be positive. John
