Cut a pork steak or roast into 1/2 to 1 inch cubes.

Season with season salt, garlic powder and black pepper.

Brown in a little oil. When almost done, add in some bell pepper strips(and/or anaheim chili peppers...if you like it hot, you can add jalapenos) and onion wedges.

Just as onion begins to become clear, add a 28 ounce can of green chili sauce or green enchilada sauce and heat.

Serve in burritos with beans and/or rice, over noodles or just over rice. If you like, you can even make it a stew by adding potatoes and carrots and eat it by the bowlful. A spoonful or two of sour cream in the burrito or on top of the serving tastes great!

Keith - you had mentioned that the ham steaks you tried today were a little tough. You can brown the pork like above, then put it in a crockpot to cook for a several hours in the green sauce, and add the sauteed onions and peppers just before eating it. That should make the pork nice and tender!
