sandhills.... shhhhhhhClearly people hate hunting whitetail![]()
Oh man. I really need to make a waterfowl hunting friend here in TN. I recently realized that sandhill crane can be taken here (draw tags) and it's on my bucket list now something fierce. I'll need someone to take me and provide gear if I ever draw LOLsandhills.... shhhhhhh
Can’t blame them.Clearly people hate hunting whitetail![]()

Blasphemy!!! KindaCan’t blame them.sitting in a tree can be pretty boring.
Call me guilty. I still go whitetail hunting a few times per year here in the east but sitting in a stand of pines or oaks is sure not like those wide open spaces of the west.Blasphemy!!! Kinda![]()
It just don’t compare to the wide open spaces of the Rockies.can confirm.
Agreed, I cant hold taking a leak like I used to either up in the tree.Call me guilty. I still go whitetail hunting a few times per year here in the east but sitting in a stand of pines or oaks is sure not like those wide open spaces of the west.
I know you are a waterfowl man too Nick. I pretty much gave up whitetails when I started waterfowl hunting. The camaraderie of a group of guys in a blind with several shots fired over a morning sure beats the hours sitting alone on stand. I actually hope I reach a point one day when I enjoy that solitude but it hasn’t come for me yet. I still like the sound of wings and the shooting more than sitting still, waiting, and worrying about wind direction while wearing a safety harness that prevents shifting with the wind direction.Agreed, I cant hold taking a leak like I used to either up in the tree.
I interpret the less than 0.0 percent change as a decrease. It says percent change not percent increase. I think some of the areas that are being flocked to are clear, but I bet some of the green is change from people leaving to go towards other green areas.
Yah when I started duck hunting I pretty much gave up bow hunting whitetails as well, before that I ate, slept and breathed bow hunting whitetails. Kinda strange really how it just went to the wayside. I may try to make an effort to do a little this year just for old times sake.I know you are a waterfowl man too Nick.
