There is value ($$$) in any kind of antler. Ban the sale of antlers and maybe at least a small percentage of poaching will end. I would spend a year in prison to have 30 mins alone with the guy who poached these deer. Unbelievable....
I hunt near Wright. First time I was out there DIY and we found several antelope shot and left that were just out of sight of the road. My theory was they were shot from a vehicle and didn't drop on the spot so no attemp at recovery was made. I see some every time I'm out there. I fear it's more common than not.
